I am ever so grateful for the love and support all of you have shown me over the years for my small business Kawai Karu Kosmetics.
I have had awesome memories and moments and I am so glad to have been a part of your journey in discovering healthy skin and specifically Korean beauty.
I have been based in Durban from inception and I have loved being a part of various pop up events and markets (in Durban and Johannesburg – Shoutout to KOTRA SA!)
Unfortunately I have to say goodbye to Durban as I will be relocating to Western Cape.
My small business has been operational and doing “okay” if I may say so but it is not at the level to meet all of my financial commitments on a monthly basis. Therefore, I was relying on my full-time job.
As of 31 Dec 2022, I was retrenched along with 2 colleagues and I have been job hunting in the hopes of finding something in Durban. However, I’ve received a strong offer from a company in Western Cape and I do have bills to pay every month.
I will have to close the shop temporarily whilst I settle in to my new job and new city. I will not be able to take my stock with me as I’m not sure how much space I will have in my new place.
I will close the shop temporarily from 15 Feb 2023 and I am hoping to open up again in 3 months time (God willing).
I am ever so grateful and your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.
